Tod, from Makassar, the epicenter city of South Sulawesi, is a traditional electronic soundscapes band with a touch of folklore and a 'pop' genre. They offer a dynamic and unique sound of authentic Southeast Asia. The band emphasizes electronic beats and ambient sounds in their arrangements while also incorporating various aspects of Indonesian (especially ancient Bugis folklore) mythology and history into their lyrics.
Their brand new EP titled 'Silaga' captures the mythological nuances of South Sulawesi with a pop-leaning approach. The EP also features strong social criticism in its lyrical content. The band's comeback is definitely worth checking out. S.E.A. music enthusiasts, don't miss this beautiful sound of Southeast Asia.  From:  https://www.facebook.com/kambairecs/posts/tod-from-makassar-the-epicenter-city-of-south-sulawesi-is-a-traditional-electron/470994849078468/
