Second Hand - Hangin' On An Eyelid
“Hangin‘ on an Eyelid” is a brilliantly unique track from Death May Be Your Santa Claus (1971) a challenging masterwork by British progressive rock band Second Hand. Second Hand were formed in 1965 by teenagers Ken Elliott, Kieran O’Connor and Bob Gibbons who went on to record three studio albums between 1968 to 1972. Second Hand are considered by many critics to be one of the most underestimated and under appreciated progressive bands of their time. Personally I always thought they were as good as any of the prog bands around at the time. They were experimental, complex and challenging and as it turns out, quite timeless.
